I am not an authority or going to give a huge dissertation here but I will say I agree with Jimmy's video above about matching your music with decent sounding headphones. (I have Sennheisers HD555 on my desktop also, a pr. of B&W multi-media speakers). A couple weeks ago, we found ourselves shopping for our soon to be deployed son's birthday gift, something he could take with him. We "tried" these out at the store and I was blown away. The bass is amazing and knew that they would serve him well as he would be in a plane for many many long hours plus they were also very comfortable for long hours of play, if he should be so lucky. That said, happily we bought these and gave them to him and he loves them
